Tasstop Ultramax
TaşStop Ultramax is a solvent-free polyurethane-based single-component, solvent-free, UV-resistant, polyurethane-based stone binder and stabilizer due to its aliphatic structure. Ultramax is based on polyurethane resin. While its solvent-free nature makes it an environmentally friendly resin, it offers a very strong and permanent bonding feature.
Mixing of 4-12 mm stones can be done with a standard drill mixer. However, for larger stones, the use of an Isopave Stone mixer is recommended. During mixing, it should be ensured that all surfaces of the stones are resinated. Otherwise, the stones will not be able to stick together completely in the parts not wetted by the resin.
The only handicap of the product, besides its strong structure and long-lasting bonding feature, is its high viscosity. Due to its high viscosity structure, its application is limited to spray application and pouring methods. For this reason, the most appropriate method to be used will be mixing. It provides both long-lasting and shiny appearance with a usage rate of 3-5% of the product weight.
