Stone Stop Casting Method

Step 1
For best results, ensure that the aggregates to be resined are clean and dry. Ideally, a stone with a diameter of 4 mm to 8 mm is recommended. If the surface is to receive foot traffic, the maximum size should not exceed 10 mm.

Step 3
During application, mixing with a rake to ensure that the resin is distributed on the stone surfaces will be beneficial for homogenization. For a completely solid surface, 2-coat application is recommended. No mixing is done in the 2nd coat application, only resin is applied from the top. TaşStop is left to dry for 24 hours between coats, otherwise there may be a risk of excessive moisture in the area.

Step 2
It is recommended to apply 1 litre per m2 to completely cover the stones. A flower watering can can be used to provide even distribution. Before using the watering can on the entire area, it should be ensured that it reaches the desired coverage rate in litres per m2.

Step 4
TaşStop should not be applied in harsh weather conditions. Rain will wash TaşStop away and reduce its bonding strength. TaşStop will continue to gain strength for up to 5 days after application.

Oversaturation is the primary concern. Since it air dries, applying too much Tasstop will leave the surface wet and unglued.
